Hey guys ive got a Hilux LSD for sale that didnt fit my JZX110. Im looking for around $200 including shipping. It's an 8 inch diff.

Clutch pack? Ratio? Condition? Complete unit or just pumpkin?

It's a clutch type LSD. It's just the diff centre so its doesnt have a crown. Previous owner took it apart and checked everything and it was all in good condition. Came out of a 2003 hilux which had done 113,000 km's.

Live axle diffs don't suit IRS rears. No retaining groves on the side gears for the stub axles. Clutch types are shit, breakaway torque's shit and they have a stupid tendency to go open when and where they feel like. 200 however is a very reasonable price.

I thought they were quite predictable. Ill most likely be getting a torsen now :)

As a street diff for going places quickly, without chirping wheels when trying to parallel park etc, torsen is awesome. For holding drift angle, not so awesome.

Blew mine to pieces

Also can be quite agressive in the wet coming off intersections
(Mrs now understands opposite lock and I'm ok with her sobering... Kind of haha)

Just curious, when was the last time u changed the diff oil before it blew up? :|

What did u replace it with?
