I was lucky with the J pipe removal as the HKS turbo can take both the factory 2 bolt flange and a 4" silicone joiner so i just got a 4" alloy 45deg bend and cut it to size, got a nipple welded on for the breather. The factory turbo and alot of the other bolt on turbos have a 2 bolt flange so you would have to get a flange made up then welded up to an intake pipe.
Havent noticed a huge difference doing it apart from slightly louder induction noise. Gotta be better running a direct intake tract though.

Roof wing was from jp and rear spoiler was from a guy that use to sell us carparts at work

from seeing pics of your engine bay ive motivated myself to start on the j pipe removal on my 100. how did you mount all the little hanging lines and plugs which bolted to the jpipe?
