Re: Ct15b highflow
Yes well aware of this but I decided it might be a good idea to try and get a thread going on people who have actually done this so that other people can get some basic information without ringing up Steve
Trying to minimise the phone calls Steve gets so that he can spend more time building and supplying awesome turbos
Sound good?

Re: Ct15b highflow
As a bit of a base for those that don't already know here a little background on the ct51B http://www.turbochargerkits.com.au/tag/ct15b-turbo/
In other news there are people in the soarer community in Aus and the US using the CT15b's on the VVTI's and gaining around 250-280kw with some supporting mods in this thread
http://soarercentral.com/sc-forum/messa ... 28706.html
Likethey say in that some people have been using GT30 cores but that's old technology now. Be keen to see if anyone has used the core from a borg warner

Re: Ct15b highflow
logan you know my thoughts on the hi flow issue
in my mind ( and in my opinon here ) its the best bang for buck upgrade you can do
comparing the stats and figures etc the Tomei set is effectivly a glorified hi flow anyway you just pay a crap load more for it
as a matter of fact the high flows that steve does ( or has done for me ) has bigger exhaust and intake compressor wheels, unsure on shaft size tho
my set up is supposedly good for 450hp to 500hp so steve said all those years ago as it flows some sweet CFM
the best thing you could say to steve is exactly what you want to do with the car and where you would like the power to be and that is a fantastic starting point
i will dig out my inv from steve as it has some better info on there

Re: Ct15b highflow
Yeah deffinately know your thoughts jarred
Was actually reading some old posts where you said that AJ was doing a highflow and I think Dom and SimonmkII as well?
My current plan is to go through Murch and get my spare highflowed. Just trying to get some more information on past set ups he has done.
I understand he has been looking at fitting holset cores to them?
