Actually, with all honesty, I'm not quite sure and I don't know why I said that but I read a thread somewhere sometime ago about v8s+auto+LSD has tendency to spin out on wet roads around corners coz a novice driver doesn't have full control.. bullshit stuff, nothing scientific

Wont you have more control in the wet if the car was a manual as you can select gears. For example, if you put your foot down slightly in an auto, it automatically shifts into a lower gear, and on some occasions causing wheel spin. But in a manual, you can select your gears and to avoid wheel spin you can just shift it into a higher gear. Does that make sense?
