Cool to see another Verossa on here, The part that gets me with Vladivostok spec Verossas is that they always import high spec Factory manual hahah, with sunroofs, leather, turbo etc. SO jealous!

Hard it's always like that, I guess that's because we don't reall have a lot of euro cars make like 25%euro, 70%jap and 5% Russian ones. I know a lot of people who had all the options etc. my self I had a 2004 ir-v black, sunroof, black leather, red wood and wood steering wheel manual it had like 64ks. Best car me and my dad ever owned) then he bought a 2006 land cruiser from USA. Sold turbo mark 2 and bought a 2001 jzx110 mark grande, sunroof as a daily driver. It was back in 2008-2009. Not many of those 2004 irv left haha I guess all crashed now or sold somewhere else around Russia.

I must have that Russian trait haha, If I was ever to import one, it would have to be extremely well optioned. Is your's going VVT-i turbo 1J soon?

I'm thinking about it, might just get a front cut with an auto gearbox as that's my wife's car now anyways. As I've just bought a 1993 540i v8 nz new BMW , will be taking the engine out in a few weeks to replace all seals, plugs, oil etc and just get it slammed on some wire wheels.
Will be installing a few upgrades on my Verossa in a few weeks too tho. As wife comes back this Tuesday from Russia with all of my goodies for it. Will post some pics later on Tuesday)

A few updates on my Verossa, pics will be coming tom tho.
1) Replaced my rear 235/35/19 tyres on a new 265/30/19. Had to roll my rear guards. Full wheel alignment and balance.
2) finally my HeadUnit all looks fine as I've got a trim and bits to fit it.
3) got m side skirts, rear lip, small trunk spoiler ( spoiler is for sale ) changed my mind and keeping OEM one. Can sell it for 120
4) OEM verossa 2003 facelift frill, will be painting it black and fitting soon.
5) headlight covers tinted OEM Japan and windows wisors or what you call them OEM as well.
6) plastic bonnet guard to protect it from bugs and vertex eyebrows
7) a few bits from china and Japan as well.
Btw I'm going to Japan for 6 weeks this September to buy a few cars and might get one to swap the engines over to my verossa I want it to be turbo and maybe manual)
Will add a few pics Tom of the parts.

Re: 2001 Toyota Verossa 25
Hey guys, been busy plus my ex miss f***d my verossa. Engine needs to be replaced. No money atm for a gte conversion as bought a new BMW project car so yeah. Ordered an engine from Japan 1jz-fse with 92ks while my car done 93500ks so pretty close. Costing me all up 650-700nzd inc gst and shipping. Will be doing an engine swap at home so if someone wants to come over and help would be great. Beers and pizza will there as well haha
Will replace a few things on the engine as well while it's off the car:
Spark plus
Thermostat
Water pump
Cam belt
All pulleys
Both air con and power steering belts
And a few seals, make at NST told me it would be good time to replace them as they do leak some times and not that expensive like 25-35 for one and 55 for the other one.
I'm over at Russia at the moment.
What do I need for a 4 pot celsior brake conversion? What model celsior brakes do I need? Will ucf30 ones work?
Found a pair of calipers, pads, brake hoses, rotors, arms, hubs and wheel bearings for just 350.
Let me know what else I need and where to get prices etc. Need an answer ASAP as will be here not for long. Photo of what I need would be good so I know how it looks like.
Found a set of celsior Ucf 20/21 calipers, pads, brake hoses, rotors, arms, hubs and wheel bearings for just 200nzd.
Will grab a new set of pads while here as well as pretty cheap.
Thinking of getting a rear sway bar set, stock one with all the linkages etc for 40 buks haha
As my verossa doesn't have a rear one.
Plus both rear and front upper strut braces new for 260 buks.
