Re: guys chaser
Hey all, it was a busy holiday in the garage and that was ok while it was raining but when the sun came out I felt like a bit of a loser.....pfffft whatever!! I got no sunburn, sand in my lunch, no crowds at the beach. Bypassed all that and went straight for the real treats. yep now the chaser is back on the ground. Brakes fitted, and panel work has started.
REAR Brake. New standard disc with 4 pot caliper
FRONT brake. 14inch rotor with 6 piston caliper
Sorry pics are a bit rubbish, and with the lens on the phone its not possible to get a good photo of the whole car in enough detail to see all the brakes etc well.
After this I got stripping. Paint that is and did the bonnet, boot, roof and rear quarters.
Got some Vertex from Nick, cheers mate, and fitted those too
Paint fumes overcame me at this point and theres no snaps of the finished primer. its not terrible exciting anyway.
So im in discussions with a painter now but it will probably take a few months for the finances to recover before we can get this sprayed up. Till then I still have the front and rear plastics (what do we call them these days, surely not bumpers??) to prime up and all the door handles and trims etc.

Looks good. Gives it the intimidation factor. Will look killer with the front mount in place

Thanks Phil, shes a difficult one to photo. Mainly coz of my pussy phone camera and bad light. its a Satin finish and the colour has lots of flips n flops in it so the shade changes quite a bit with the light level. But you get the general idea.
Re: guys chaser
I've been waiting in your next update.
