I wouldn't bother with a torsen if you are paying for a Lsd I would go for a mechanical !!!
I will be changing my torsen for a mechanical one day
They are just so more predictable

Does it act similar to the helical in the s15?

It locks and is nice and tight intact is quite aggreesive but opens on any de-excel ! It is good for coil overs with not much droop and is fine for a lock / burnout but I don't have much confidence in them if you like to get it out occasionally .

Sounds exactly like a R200 Helical.

Have you checked all the wreckers?

There was a turbo JZX110 at Turners in the damaged vehicles a few months back that had an LSD. Not sure where it turned up though.
