Anyone got a crappy old open diff (8" crown wheel) they wanna get rid of? Save me welding my torsen

The one at $80? That ones sold unfortunately

Torsen is no good for drifting, I don't like the way it feels, unpredictable and never really locks up completely. Locker or two way are the only ways to go really. Don't get me wrong though, its a nice road diff (until you lift a wheel slightly and it turns into an open diff

) but I just want something that I can whack in there for track days.

Jap spares do have a factory option clutch type LSD BO2D (not sure about this, correct me if I'm wrong). I don't know if they have already listed it on trademe but it was there when a swung by

I got a open turbo diff sitting in my shed I could sell you. Postage from New Plymouth wouldnt be cheap though.

Really? I didn't know such a thing existed haha. Could be worth looking into, I'll ask them about it. But knowing them they will probably want a silly price for it...

Yikes... bit more than I wanted to spend... but weight it up for me and i'll get a quote. If postage isn't too bad I might still grab it

Is it out of your 110? If so, do you know whether they interchange sweet? No issues with different axles or anything?

Yeah they are all the same I guess. Replaced with torsen from a 100. Will sell it cheaper if someone picks it up and saves me the hassle.
