It's been a while since I posted something on this thread.... well nothing much has been done to this car, just a few bits like:
TINTS
XQUSIS P-plate
today, I swung by NST to browse on parts, ended up getting this:
next month, I'm looking at Cusco swaybars and/or a new set of wheels...
or maybe just go for a brand new r154 conversion from NST.. gotta wait for the result on Peter's car first (VR25)
oh yeah, Thanks to Peter Deedman and Nick Chiew @ North Shore Toyota

Go the rear sway bar - I would've done that instead of the strut brace.
Re: XQUSIS: Murdoko's Mark II JZX110 IR-V
how much was the strut brace?
btw, hide that earthing kit!!

Re: XQUSIS: Murdoko's Mark II JZX110 IR-V
Thanks for the feedback guys!
the strut brace is about $270. yeah I know its better to go for the swaybars first. However, it doesnt really matter if you're gonna get the whole lot right?? this was the last front brace for the jzx110 turbo that's why I grabbed it.
I got coilovers lined up but Espelir springs should do for now. It's already scraping on tricky roads as it is. I don't wanna damage the underbody.
After much thought, I'll definitely go for swaybars first. I haven't really found a set of wheels that I absolutely like... I might save the wheels for last as I'm really keen on converting this thing to manual. so far it's about 5.5k worth of brand new parts from NST so it's actually quite cheap! that includes an aftermarket flywheel and clutch. Like I said, just waiting for Peter to complete his conversion so I know exactly what I'm gonna do step by step.
I couldve bought the whole lot today: coilovers, wheels, swaybars, etc... but where's the fun in that!! gotta pace myself!! HAHAHA
is the earthing kit really that bad? :S

sucks Rota's doesn't have decent staggered sets atm... correct me if I'm wrong
Re: XQUSIS: Murdoko's Mark II JZX110 IR-V
They do. Depends on the wheel of course, but if you want a staggered fitment I reckon the Rota Torque (TE37 copy) in 18x9.5 +20 front and 18x10 +15 rear would be mint on your car!murdoko wrote:sucks Rota's doesn't have decent staggered sets atm... correct me if I'm wrong

Re: XQUSIS: Murdoko's Mark II JZX110 IR-V
Coming along nicely! Swaybars are well worth it, makes it handle alot better especially when tracking it. Manual conversion would be well worth it man.

sorry my man, but this is a fail.murdoko wrote: It's already scraping on tricky roads as it is. I don't wanna damage the underbody.
