Post by moonboots »

Gearbox out of a n/a 300zx (Z32)
Remote shift gearbox, same internals as the GTR/RB25DET gearbox, often used by silvia drifters who smash boxs.
comes with a Custom made, 16mm thick alloy adapterplate to bolt the box to the back of a toyota 1/2JZ supra engine.
had it made up for my drift car.
but am going with something different now.
is listed on trademe, auction Listing #: 379232339
$1300 ono
Troy,0212520710
is in teatatu auckland

Interesting....
Any idea where the gearstick would come up when used in a JZX90?

i was gunna use it in my 90. expect i was gunna shortn the shifter up. its alot easyer todo than on toyota box. at a guess it would come up 16mm behind the normal location. at a guess.. dont quote me lol

Lol... what I meant is, in relation to a remote shift Toyota box, where does the shifter sit? Guess it's kinda hard to say without having the two side by side to compare. Unless someone knows the measurement between shifter and bellhousing on a Toyota box?

Might keep an eye on this. Alot cheaper than an R154 thats for sure...

at the risk of sounding like a effin idiot. lol
from what i can tell, when a silvia has a z32 box installed the shifter comes up in roughly the same area as a Jz powered silvia. slightly south of the main hole.
however i will measure the distance from bellhousing to the gear stick, if somebody with a R box wants to do the same?
