Nice choice, I have always liked the V300s.
If I hadnt come across the IR-V I would probably own one :)

Nah, will keep it auto, its my daily driver and spend a bit of time in traffic, besides its a largish cruiser, more suited to auto IMO, and autos mated to a largish turbo engine are pretty good really - no loss of boost between gears - just a relentless surge of torque  , the steering wheel shift buttons work well enough when I want to play around a bit.

First order of business will be to de-cat and open up the exhaust, thinking 3" downpipe splitting off to dual 2.5" with 3" rolled tips.

Have never had an issue before, and removed them from 4 of my prior cars, but all my older cars were 1995 or prior.... I don't foresee any issues though

I tried to do the same thing on my JZX110 and was told Id fail the WOF, something to do with the year of the vehicle

Hmm, not sure that info was accurate TBH, I know 2001+ cars now get emission checked at the border, but still nothing at WOF time.

Either way, would be simple enough to create the system so you can bolt the cat back in at WOF time if its going to be an issue.
