He is planning a JZ meet not specifically JZX
Which sounds to me as if he is following the Japan 1j meet type of setup.
This opens I up to soarers/aristos/supras and conversions.
If you want to have an na day or all comers then perhaps think about organising something?
Also this isn't set in stone he is in the planning stage and has said "at this stage" turbo only.
I say good on him for trying to put something together

Turbo only is just dumb, limiting it to JZ motors should be enough

Yea i'm not sure why its "dumb". Anyway nothings set in stone so if there happens to be loads of standard auto jz's wanting to come we will have to look into opening it up. I just cant see anyone really wanting to hoon around a track in a na jz.

haha I see where they are coming from particularly with NA JZA80's (I have seen them thrash turbo everythings all day long) but a full day out with jz's turbo or not would be awesome as hell. Would even look at bringing the 110 over for that if it was a all weekend sort of thing

I'd prefer if there wasn't the average 15 year old there with his 1J N/A 90 he picked up for 3k. I think Mikes doing a good thing. I'm sure he'd be all good to have a proper set up N/A there.

Agree. I hope noone gets offended. maybe there should be a certain criteria for N/A JZs to get on board. Otherwise, it makes this meet very special if it's a turbo only meet.

You know some panties are going to get wedged hard. I do disagree with the JZ in anything clause though. That means all the shitty nissans are going to rock up just because they plonked in a JZ. Should be brand/chassis/family specific considering its jzx not jz.co.nz . My two cents worth.

Good luck getting more than 10 turbo jzx toyotas on board. i dont mind a nissan with a jzx, they have the best of both worlds
