^^ Don't forget there's nothing like OEM quality.. How many kms has your car done on those original gaskets.. i bet it would be double or triple what you will get out of the aftermarket equivalent imo.

But I can change them 5 times for the same cost at the risk they are not as good. You just make sure you buy from a well known aftermarket manufacturer.

I agree, especially with gaskets. You know the OEM are good quality when the big boys putting out 300-600kw still use factory gaskets for everything except the main head gasket.

Argh im so disappointed, on the lookout for new rims again. I brought a set of front brakes of a lexus gs350 (direct bolt on upgrade) from xnickx our North Shore Toyota parts connection.

A massive thanks man, that price was incredible! top service too as he assembled them also.

Anyway long story short ive learnt a lesson buy brakes BEFORE rims as these brakes are HUGE, a lot bigger than I was thinking therefore the rim would not bolt on as the spokes hit the calipers, I was only thinking of the diameter not the thickness of the caliper! oh well mrs has has pretty much banished me to the couch haha but on the bright side I get to go rim shopping again! whoohoo.

I put some 25mm spacers on and still only cleared the caliper by 9-10mm. I was thinking to machine down some 20mm spacers to 17-18mm then give it some camber but just wont be right. already at 1' on front so without getting silly its a no go.

But im Friggen wrapped with these brakes, going to paint a red or white TRD logo on the caliper, will look sick.

Some of you probably wont think they are that big but they are the biggest ive ever dealt with so here they are, beasty boys cd there for reference.

4pot gs350 brake upgrade. the discs are 333mm
