Look's like some of you have the ability to compete , but can personally say I haven't seen one of your rides on a track .
Night speeds are happening 17th July ( Weather permitting ) , I think it's about time we see you doing some track time to show everyone what u got . !!!
Garage Queens need not apply !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

unless they have tightened there scruteneering ( sp? ) i wouldnt think so, been a very ( very very ) long time since i was last there
just treat it like a track day or clubmans event and you should be sweet
ie
secure battery
no lose things floating about
brakes
seat belt/harness etc
sounds like a blast tho

I've never competed but it's pretty gud fun to watch. Jzx cruise out at least. I'm pretty sure the last time I was there it was wof and reg required. But a couple of drag cars turn up on trailers so I'm sure you could get some runs in.

I'm pretty sure semi-tuned JZXs can put up a good fight...
I'd love to compete but we all know mine's not the best JZX in the group in terms of how much $$$ under the hood... but hey, keen to give my car a couple or more runs..

nah chap, its a good point to base your cars performance one..........do a few mods then go back and hit the track and see ( fingers crossed ) the times drop

Pretty keen, but not till i get a boost controller and running at 1+ bar. Last time I went with standard boost(0.7 bar) and shitty rear tyres and got a 14.3@162 before some dude in a jzx90 blew his torsen on the strip and then it got rained out.

Night Speed drags don't start till Sept/Oct I think. Winter Dragwars are on at the moment, but they're Sunday morning rather than Friday night.
I'm pretty sure that if you're competing in the street classes, C1/C2/C3 etc, a WOF is required.
I may head down for a blat, maybe not on the 17th but i'm hoping to make it down there on the 31st (last event of the season), obviously not in the Mark 2 though lol
