Fark, I tried to do that but it didn't work. If you turn right at Kaiaua the road is much more interesting 
The road to maraetai is pretty good also but can be busy.

now now, enough of that 
. I am keen to meet a few of you guys, my plane lands Saturday midnight so I'll be around. I should be sweet for a meet but may have to skip the drive
