A pillar gauge cluster install
anyone know the best way of fitting one to handle the weight of 3 gauges? I'm not too keen on screwing it in, I was gonna see about glassing it.

What about putting them on your dash?

i think thats the only way to do it - otherwise you can put 3 on the pillar

its got a massive shear strength - and its cheap. i would try a couple of long strips of hook (rough) ends on the pod, to stick onto your pillar, assuming your pillar is "carpeted" material not plastic.......? if your pillar is made of material, the velcro should stick on easily... and you can always adjust it to your content later. i would just superglue the strips of velcro to the inside of the pod, to ensure the velcro's factory adhesive doesnt slowly give way in the heat and vibration.

hmm, I mite try the velcro then, suppose it wont hurt, Im not too sure if the pillar fabric is thick enough to hold though

Velcro is a no go, not enough fabric on the pillar cover to hold the weight. I have decided to paint the cluster and glue it on.
