hi guys,

any thoughts and inputs on a suitable fitment for the jzx90 mark 2?

some input from fellow x90 owners with pictures and specs of their fitments please!

found something I'm fond off but just checking to see if anyone has run these specs before

18 x 10 +32 all round with either 245/45/18s

any ideas with clearance issues?

youre pretty bang on i think.

10" wide +32 to +35 is flush (properly flush ie. rim edge same width as fender)
9.5" wide +23 for same fitment
9" wide +15 for same fitment

in all cases you need inner lips of guards rolled totally flat or you will suffer tyre scrubbing

all should give you perfect rim fitment, then just add suitably narrow tyre to allow for clearance.

havent run a 10" rim personally but, :
on a 9.5" rim id suggest 235/40 max, 225/40 ideal, 215/40 big stretch
on a 9" rim, 225/40 max, 215/40 ideal, 205/40 stretcheddd

90 guards swallow a bit more cock than 100 guards...

I ran 18x10 +22 (effective) on the rear of my JZX91 with 245/45/18's... had a bit of guard work though :)

So +32 on the rear should be fine with less guard work (I would have pulled at least 10-15mm), dependant on the tyre you run.

lol the first line of your comment! hilarious! :D

yeah problem is now, not sure if 18 x 10 +32 would work on the fronts! :o

Im pretty sure that with that fitment up front, the inner lip of the wheel will hit the caster arm before full lock. this can be combatted somewhat with jzx110 caster arms which have bigger kink in them.

Yup you're right. Gonna have to go down an inch or so size wise and lower offset. I run 18x9 +22 with 225/40's up front and they just slightly graze the caster arms at full lock (with lock spacers though)

I've got Looonie's old car and can confirm that you can fit some pretty chunky rims out back. I run 18x10 +24 with 235/40's. I'd say there's enough room back there to go down to +15 in the same width. Or with 9"s out the back on 215's, could even rock a 0 offset I reckon, but like he said - some guard work required
