Front reinforcement bar removal

Now I know a couple of you got away with removing your front reinforcement bar, seems the cert guys down my ways wont let me, do you think I could get away with something like this?

as long as the compressing strength of the aftermarket brace matches that of the original bar I don't see why not. Unless they will get all pissy about the fact you modified it. I modified my original reinforcement bar on my ST205 and JZA80 so I could fit the intercooler behind it and the cert guys didn't seem to care just as long as the bar was there cause it affects the way the car crumples on impact
