long bar hooked through lower arm with a friend standing on it.
remove old struts, replace with much shorter adjustable coilovers to make reassembly much easier!

Disconnect swaybar if you have it too.

But yeah, had to use crowbar and in excess of 100kg of downweight to move the upper a-arm enough to get strut out... stupid annoying things.

Or just unbolt and remove ;)

You'll have to fully collapse the wishbones and the strut-coil assembly will have to pass in between the wishbones at an angle. That's what we did, at least.

It would be much easier if the bolts fastening the wishbones to the chassis are loosened. That way, you won't need anyone to push them down.

On the 110 the key was to bring the top of the strut out past the guard. Front suspension was the opposite. I got full suspension swap down to about an hour (every 6 months 8-) ) when I had coilovers. I can't picture either 110 or 100 setup at the moment so this may be of no use to you....

basicly what this man has said
really not that hard

undo sway bar links ( if you have them
lift car high as possible so the arm are at the lowest point
undo bottom bolt
then the top three strut should slide out easy

with the fronts you have to undo the top A arm and do it that way

so do not remember using and JB10s haha
