Hi all just thought this would be useful for anyone who is looking to upgrade gx90 brakes on the cheap (Might work for other cars too, someone else may be able to shed light there)

These particular brakes are off an sxe10 beams Altezza unsure if other models have the same setup

Rotor height/ thickness

Altezza pad carrier on cresta hub

If you keep the cresta hub you'd need to trim the rotor back plate so if possible itd be better to use a complete Altezza hub from Upper to lower ball joint

Wheel clearance (18x8.5 +30)

Hope to buy all this stuff for my car soon!

Also wondering if anyone knows if the brakes that have Altezza stamped on them are of similar specs? (and perhaps another potential upgrade)

Cheers!

Just a bit more info on brake fitment for these.

For fitment of the Altezza/IS200/IS300 brakes, they are all the same for mounting SXE/GXE obviously there is perfornance differences such as pistons and size but the mounting locations are all the same.

The 90's/100's/110 are all the same for the front including suspension arms and the such (various models have different lengths standard however). The rears on the SXE/GXE are the same as the 110 but differs slightly to the 90 and 100. Can't remember why but I think from memory its different hubs as the SXE10 and 110 have the same hubs where as the cresta/90/100 are the same.

Another option is the Celsior UCF20/21 set ups. They are a perfect match apart from the nuts. In order to fit the calipers you need offset nuts and RCA's so the caliper clears the control arm.

Could LS430 UCF30/31 set ups be used. Will they fit the just the same as UCF20s?
Can get them cheap.
