JZX110 Front Suspension noise

Post by shweatypox »

Hows it,
I have a noise coming from my front drivers side suspension, it sounds like a loose bit of small metal bouncing around. Very noticeable on lots of small bumps rather then one big one. I tried tightening everything I can and now the noise isn't as loud but I get a noisy rubber sound. I thought it may have been the Teins so I whipped them out and put the factory stuff in but still the same. Any ideas?

Yeap caster arm bushings wear out quickly on these cars... and Altezzas. I replaced mine before compliance..

I also have some 110 front driver's side suspension noise. I haven't isolated yet, but I used it to justify some TRD caster arm bushes. Haven't fitted them but they were $90 for the pair.

Cheers guys, Im gonna start with replacing as much of the front bushings with nolathane and see what happens, this should clear the rubber rubbing noise just not sure about the metal noise. :)
