1G-FE Compatibility

Post by Hoadster »

Hey all, just had a question. Right now, I'm driving a 1G-FE 1997 Toyota Mark II 5 Speed. I wanna modify it, but parts are obviously less common that 1JZ parts. Does anyone know if parts for the 1G-FE Altezza/IS200 would still bolt on? I'm speaking specifically about engine parts. Thanks ahead!

ha you fail to see the epic headers and the ITB's hiding under the harty intake haha

but most engine parts should be interchangeable, other than maybe gxe10 headers etc

Just save up for 1jz. I have same car and while it has more torque then an rb20de, no amount of weights reduction can make it satisfyingly fast.

Nice. Well, at least I've got a little room to play then!
