Hey guys

im wanting to get a custom downpipe made for my JZS161 Aristo, does anyone have any contacts or know a workshop that can make one up for a good price?

Ive been in contact with Al's Mufflers on the Shore and they have quoted me $295 inc gst....is that pretty much an average price for something like this???

Good price if it includes labour too!

Get some more quotes. I use Mr Muffler in Onehunga, down pipe + straight 2 1/2 exhaust cost me $280 inc gst on my old Carina including all materials and labour.

I've used Mr Muffler and mates have used Al's, both do awesome work

I saw the topic and thought of Mr Muff in Onehunga - especially if you are wanting to have something local-ish sorted. Has done my car's exhausts in the past and also a few mates' ones.

The guy there is a real GC. Once I went to him with a couple of flanges to hook up a new exhaust and dump pipe to a new turbo but they didn't fit in the tight space so he cut a couple up at no extra charge and did the job accordingly.

Works super fast too!!
