If you answer yes to both questions then Cat cannot be removed. If you answered no to either then Cat can be removed.

3. Was vehicle first registered in NZ on or after 1 May 2010?
4. Has an emissions test NOT been carried out and passed in decatted configuration?
If yes to all then cat cannot be removed.....
What did you do with your old cat?
I kept my one as a bolt in replacement if Mr wof ever has an issue.
