Here you go mate. A02B 4.1 ratio I think. By the looks of it, the rear mounts look identical to x-chassis ones.

I would go for an A01B 3.9 ratio. although 4.1 isn't too bad either. If the diff mounts don't match, you can also swap the internals, They should be the same, just different housing.

and that diff is too expensive, you should be able to get one for $250 ++

Yeah but it's $300 no reserve, so its still pretty cheap. Most of the altezza ones I've seen on trade me go for $350+

No worries man! Plus the 4.1 ratio should be perfect since your cars got an r154. 3.7 and 3.9 are fine for the street, but can be a bit too long for drifting or track use. Also, if you don't get this one, there's always others popping up on Trademe. I normally use "Toyota LSD" as key words when looking for an LSD.

SO.

upon getting off my ass and getting the strut tower bars ans sway bars fitted up, i decided to actually look at the plate in the engine bay and have found the diff i have is actually a B04D... which as far as i can find is supposed to be a Torsen LSD.

interestingly, from the few skids that i've done in it, the diff hooks up both wheels in a straight line, but around slow corners the inside wheel slips (like an open diff).

if i have a B series diff (which i understand to be the bigger 8" item) does this mean i can just plug in any ol' JZX100 differential?

I'm pretty sure a B04D is open however im quite sure that its 8". Any other 8" JZX diff should be able to fit :). I think Jun (@CHA5ER) had the same code diff in his old white JZX90. Might wanna ask him
