Hi Guys,

I've just been redoing the cooling system on my motor, and in the thermostat housing pipe, this weird buildup has formed? It's kinda gooey but if you touch it, it sort of disolves?



anyone know anything about this?

Looks like that red gasket maker stuff and its had a reaction to the coolant then when removed its oxidised?

Completely un-educated guess though!

I didn't use any kind of sealant on the flange
