O2 Sensor?

Is it worth replacing my O2 sensor?
My 100 with a 1JZ-GTE has done about 170kms now. What do you guys reckon? Dunno where I'd find a new one but I just wonder if she might be happier. I might also just unplug it for a while and see what happens.
Also I hear if you are rough with them or touch them it wrecks them, is this true?
