pretty sure that says wiring is different auto to manual so manual ecu wont work on a auto

this guys appears to have tried it to although it is a blit wagon

one of you more intelligent guys might be able to work out what the Japanese guy did with the ecu pinouts

What speed sensor are you using? Its usually a waveform/correction that'll set off that light.

edit checked the box

there's a 3 pin speedo at the rear drivers side of the box

not wired up at the moment I was told 100's speedo ran off the diff wrong obviously

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/20 ... gs005.jpg/ black plug with the neutral start wiring

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/52 ... gs004.jpg/ grey plug from the rear passenger corner of the auto box

http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/70 ... gs006.jpg/ then there 2 of these abs sensors

if anyone knows which three wires from which plug are for the speedo I'll wire that up and see what happens

reverse light wires would be good to know to

The three pin is the speed sensor with pinouts IGN, Ground and SP1, Yello, Black and Light blue/red. The Lblue-red goes to the dash. Trace the NSW wire on the plug near the trans, Give it +12V while cranking (use STA) she should start right up.

Edit.
The reverse lights shoutld be a +12 switched, trace it out, should'nt be a problem.

Must check if rear tyres are making screeching sounds... TRC switches ON if you do skids... ;)

Disconnect TRC plug and try. Try getting a DTC. Short pin 13 and 4 on your DLC. Its probably going into limp mode. Your ABS and TRC ECUs recieve the speed signal from the engine/ECT ECU. On the 16 pin plug check voltage at NEO on Engine Ecu and NEO of the ABS /TRC ecu. Its a +signal, ground and check. You Should've 3-5v and under 1v pulse with engine idling.
