JZX NZ

As per title, would it bolt up. I read on cressida.net that one requires a 89+ crossmember. I'm in the process of getting a really tidy 89 MX and just wanted to know.

has to be the facelift mx83 for the jz to bolt in, easiest way to tell facelift is full bumpers front and rear with no valence underneith.

Its got a valance. Goddamnit. Now i gotta make brakets for the damn thing. You stock a few X8 parts. Have you got a crossmember i can use, I know they're interchangeable.

Its a non facelift but the 7M block to mount brackets are alloy, does that mean anything or its the hard yards?

na u need the right xmember, i only have a pre-facelift mx83 xmember also

You can use pre facelift cross memeber just means you will have to change your engine mounts to suit.

either way you will need to change one or the other.

I see, the 1jz mounts however bolt up to the FL x-member though, correct? I'm in the process of getting a parts car, its a 91 so hopefully that should sus it. Thanks guys.

If you have a 91 member Use JZX81 mounts or JZX90 mounts switched to sit it 10MM back more.

if you use a pre 91 member use XM Engine mounts for pre 91 JZ conversion.
