That stuff is pretty good. I went baller status and used TRD 85W-140.
How does it drive now? What ratio?

Drives awesome! best mod I have done to the car. After i picked it from my mechanic I did a standing burnout on a motorway on ramp in the dry (laid down 2 black lines haha) and later in the night it rained so had a bit of fun in the wet. The ratio is 3.7 compared to the open which was 3.9 but should be good once I get an r154.

Auto = 3.9
Manual = 3.7
I really liked my 3.7 with the manual. Have run 4.1 and 3.9 as well
Currently have 3.9 fitted

I haven't seen that much of a difference in RPM between 3.9 and 3.7, my previous one was a 3.9, but again it would be different in a manual

If I did it again id go 4.1 to combat the lag with the new turbo setup. How was the 4.1 when you ran it logan?

Wickedly responsive and snappy on the stock turbo
First feels very short in comparison
But I was doing a lot if open road travelling at the time and revs were up a bit high for open road cruising. Instant boost in 5th though
Made me so lazy passing...
Have also driven Auckland to Dargaville in 5th gear so maybe I should just fit an auto lol

A lot of guys tracking/drifting there 100s are going to 4.1 or 4.3.
Apparently 4.3 turns 3rd gear into second on the track

If 3rd is similar to 2nd it would be a bloody handfull to drive (a good thing!). 3rd does 180kph+ with my ratios currently. Problem with my setup is there's no up and go till around 4000rpm so on the street you can't just punch the throttle and light up the rears in 1st or 2nd as you're going too fast when it starts to break traction - I kinda miss my old response setup (1.3 bar at ~3000rpm and instant wheelspin).

What RPM did it sit at 100kph on the 4.1 in 5th?
How much work is it to swap the final drive gears around? I have heard the hilux FD is interchangable with ours which would make things easy to source.
