i owe alot to this guy and crew for assistance in building my markII and the chaser. he knows his shit.

the sailplane is manic, and the driver is quite nuts! as well as a wicked fabricator

if u get a jzx90 mike ur gonna dominate. end of story. big ups!

haha nah... i think they're cool just to try something different besides! we've got a 1j and a 2j already.. something unique this time.. different settings from the pedey's v8..

thing is, garage slipway already had 3 drift cars (x and z chassis) run 1uz setups thru a ton of setup and testing and track time (i think mike summarized over a year of work and multiple engines and setups with two words lol), thats all done and dusted and when the dust cleared 1jz's dominated. so no turning back to 1uz... just like no turning back to 1g's

of course each to his own but i think all thats being said here is that the "better" option in the long run is JZ power... the "different" option is of course whatever you want :)

lol i coudn't agree more:) 1j and 2j are defiantely better:) but keep in mind that im not after the speed on this one :) there may be heaps of complications on a v8 but im after the torque and its sound atm :) like a cruiser.. i can always switch to 2j when i get bored or if im wanting more speed...i'll take it to your garage:P what im afraid of is that i might get disappointed with it compared to a jzx but im taking the risk aye..

how far is garage slipway from auckland? do you guyz have any idea what needs to have a report apart from custom mountings for cert? what about the headers? what else.... hmmm..

hahha think think think... 1uz vs 1jz... i think with a 1uzfett it'll be travelling with a high temp..lol i thin 1uz has a higher compression aye? 2jz is waay out of my budget but i reckon i might go for a 1jz gte but i'll have a MASSIVE think about it... all im after on a u1z is the monster sound and torque.. but a 1jz.. its got everything..hmmmm

how complicated it wold be to have a TT on a 1uz? do i ahve to change the internals if i put 2 low compression turbos? 1low rpm and 1 highrpm.. running on a 1477cc injectors

Vs a 1jz... hmmm now im thinking that i also want speed.. hhaha so confused!
