XQUSIS: Tristan's Mark II JZX110 IR-V

Post by murdoko »

Hey guyz just thought I'd start up thread for my car. As some of you already know, I sold my silver Chaser (JZX110) weeks ago. Immediately after that, I decided import a jzx110 Mark II.

Long story short, I won a black metallic Mark II IR-V with aftermarket bits. At the point of sale I knew that it's got:

1. Service history from new
2. original aero kit
3. stock mags
4. couple dents
5. aftermarket exhaust
6. aftermarket "underbody"
7. factory DVD player?

It's done 90ks and Japan Auction Grade 4.

OK, so here's my plan. I'm going for the all black look. I've always wanted an all black car. They look sooo evil.

Black tints, black car, black wheels, black driver.... not!

It's still a long way from my goal but hey, at least, i'm aiming for a particular look. I KNOW WHAT I WANT!

April 26 2011

I received a package from my agent in Japan. It contains:

1. Owners Manual
2. Shift Knob
3. Service History from new (they call it Maintenance Note)
4. 2 spare keys

Suprisingly, I received 3 different remotes.

1. Alarm remote with LCD display
2. Alarm remote w/o LCD display (I figured this ones a spare)
3. engine start/stop remote controller (Kool!)

all of the gadgets above seem to be working.. ;)

pics uploaded... naah it's auto. I was watching manuals and they're just too expensive for NZ at the moment. remember the $35k manual turbo Verossa on trademe? they're going for a bit less than that. $25k plus gst shipping and other expenses.

This one, however... hmmm lets just say I got it for a really really good price :)

I usually use photobucket... i've uploaded mega huge pics and they've always worked fine (but you've gotta link directly to the pic with the Img tags). Otherwise, imageshack.us is good too.
