2000 Mark II GX100 w/ factory w55 5spd

Post by Dr. Acula »

Picked this up bone stock a couple of months ago with 107km on the clock.

Name: Peter
Where your from: Auckland
What you do: Sales Rep for an IT Company
Car you own: 2000 GX100 5 Speed Mark II
Mods and future plans: 1JZ-GTE at some point in the future, thinking of getting a Tourer V kit for now, but wanting to go full custom kit with widened guards etc(something along the lines of a rocket bunny kit, but not quite as extreme)
Next car you want to buy: Toyota Mark X or Audi RS6/8
Why you joined JZX NZ: First JZX/GX I've owned so thought I'd come here for inspiration and get talking to people who have been in the game longer.

Only mods currently are a set of TBC DK, with 18x9.5 on the front, and 18x10.5 on the rear, lowered on Cobras. Plus all of the plastic trim on the interior that came factory as some horrid wood grain has been plasti-dipped black, and the carpet has been sprayed black with carpet spray. Also chucked in a TRD leather gear boot and some big ol' dilly shifter from Zillalife 'cause why not.

If you copy the image URL to http://iforce.co.nz, they can be easily resized for you without needing to re upload.

Will be interested to see what future mods you end up doing to the car 8-)

Fixed-ish, still massive haha.

Money has had to go into other things lately so haven't had a chance to start with the mods yet, but not too fussed, just enjoying it as my stanced-yet-functional daily

Yup! It spent the day on there on Monday getting tires fitted, rear guards rolled, and some Origin Lab +20mm front fenders put on.

Car got pink stickered due to stretch and tread outside the guards on the front, so go a set of Nitto Invo's all-round with legal sizing according to LVVTA, plus some Origin Lab +20mm widened front fenders, and got the rear guards pumped even more to fit some 265/35s(from 235/40 with credit card fitment)

Unfortunately, the inner sidewall of one of the rears blew out on the motorway with only 50km done on them, so took that wheel in and got the tire replaced. Gonna fit the rear wheels back on tonight after work and will try get some snaps of the even more aggressive stance it has due to meatier tires

Shit pic, but ah well, here's a photo with the new Nitto Invo's(235/40 at the front, and 265/35 at the rear) and also got the Origin Labo +20mm widened front fenders.
