Here's a bit of info for you to have a look through if you go through with this. Just havea look throgh the JZA80 sites for the best responses on this arrangement. Coming from the Supra world myself and having a look at your other post, I don't recommend you go through with a GTE on the W58 box, they just don't last and will cost you more in the long run for sure.

like one guy said in one of those threads, I think people underrate the power of the w series trans. Theres alot of people getting atleast 400hp out of them with no issues and there are idiots that have smashed them. They arent as strong as an r154 but they shift much better which warrants sticking with one if you are going to be running factory power or slightly more. No point in spending $$$ on upgraded trans when your goal is a healthy 200-250kw
