Name: Shaarn/SIC

Where you're from: Auckland - I've just relocated back home to New Zealand from Singapore after living there for 8 years as I've just finished my schooling.

What you do: Work for my Dad and soon to start my Automotive Engineering and Automotive Electrical courses at Mt. Albert Unitec.

Car you own: I own a 1995 Toyota Supra, Twin-turbo, 6-speed, Aerotop.

Previously owned cars (in order from first to last): A 1995 Toyota Supra aerotop N/A auto, a 1996 Toyota Supra N/A 5-speed and also a 1996 Toyota Supra RZ-s auto :P

Mods and future plans: I recently purchased the vehicle and have build plans coming up for it (which I will post up soon). It took me a while to settle down with a Supra because of all the costs I didn't take into account just to get one to standard RZ specs (i.e. big brakes and GETRAG swap with supporting parts to name a couple).

Next car you want to buy: None at this point - a MK1 Cortina could be a fun little do-er up-er.

Why you joined JZX NZ: MrOizo (Adrian) reckons this is a good forum with a decent bunch of people, so I thought I may as well join up too :) I am a fairly active member, so if meets/cruises are going on then you would be likely to see me there ;)

Some photos (sorry, there aren't many as I can't upload anymore at the moment as I'm using a 'T-stick' while I'm not at home - when I get back I'll put up some more):

NOTE: in some pictures you will notice I had the stock spoiler on and also in the close-up interior shot I still had my blue Evo 7 Recaros in there before me and MrOizo (Adrian) swapped in my new black SR3 seats yesterday (well, mainly Adrian) ;)

Some main points about the car:

- Straight and solid chassis
- The chassis has done 129,000 kms
- Both 2JZ-GTE and V160 GETRAG have done 97,000-98,000 kms only (‘complete’ conversion from a genuine 6-speed RZ) – no parts skimped out on.
- RZ sway bars
- Big ‘B’ series Torsen LSD
- Genuine 18” Work XD9 wheels in excellent condition – all tread is great
- New Supra 4/2 pot big brakes
- Goodridge braided brake lines
- Slotted rotors
- Recaro SR3 seats
- TRD gear knob – will be replaced with an OEM one
- OEM optional side skirts and rear-pods
- 3" HKS hi power exhaust
- Greddy BOV
- Pioneer head deck
- TRD 320 km/h speedo
- Bilstein shocks, sleeves and swift springs
- Lowered 1.5-2” front and rear
- And also tidy paint, interior and engine bay (just needs a bit of my OCD clean!)

Cheers,
Shaarn

nice to have another 2jz owner onboard - mine is basically stock, would be good to compare your mods versus performance, if you come to the next meet :)

Hey, yeah I'd be keen eh - my engine is untouched and just has the 3" HKS hi-power exhaust system (minus the front pipe to avoid over-boosting) as its performance mod so far :D

I'm hosting a dyno day for our Supra forums on the 12th of February at ST hi-tec, so it'll be interesting to see the results before I begin modifying :)
