Sam G's '89 GX81 Chaser

Post by sam726 »

Hi guys,
I'm Sam, a student at the moment working part time at Noel Leeming St Lukes. Taken me a while to get my car up on here and you may have noticed i couldn't make it to the jzx meet - way to much work at the moment but i'm here now.
So I bought the chaser around march this year after i decided to get rid of my e36 320 bmw. I bought it pretty much stock off Davy from Garage Slipway. The car is currently running a factory 1gge with a factory w55 manual box. Plans in the future are to 1jzgte it but only as money permits . All I've done to the car so far is lowering it on BC Golds, changed the exhaust a bit - removed cat so now its a 2.5" pipe with a coby resonator and dtm style twin tip (got rid of the 5" fart cannon yay). I have also redone the stereo with some nice pioneer carrozeria component speakers front and back and a 12" response sub.
Plans for the immediate future are to get the windows tinted, respray and polish the wheels, fix my stereo ground loop and just tidy up a few things around the car. For now its pretty much just a daily driver for me.

JZ = engine code
