NORX back with a Mx83

Post by NORX »

With the old beast gone i found myself wanting another one as there was so much i had not done with the Mark ii. So i extended the loan and picked up this deal of trademe!

Image

The mods so far are as follows:
-BC Reds
-Diezel D1rs
-Beams 3sge
-6 speed gearbox
-lsd

It needs a bit of work getting it road legal. Have wiring too do, need to hook up a few things to the engine, weld in some driveshaft loops and get the exhaust made up (it only has half of one at the moment and i shit you not it sounds like a rotor )

Those being the primary things i need to do before cert, I also have a couple other things i want to do. One of which is to sort the stance out with a guard roll and some spacers. And the other is to get my Big Win kit fitted!

Looking into the future, id like to put a 2j in there as i still have my r154 and lsd sitting at home. But i dont see this happening too soon as il have to sort out the money issues first.
Peace, Blake

Interesting, how does it go with the 3s in it?
Also, got a guard roller here if you want to borrow it some time

I'm yet to find out how it drives as it only revs to 2500 at the moment. The wiring will hopefully be sorted next week, so i will find out then. Cheers, i'l let you know if i need it. Might just get them rolled/flared by someone who's done it before but if its to much i'l do it myself.

Yakuza, I'm probably just going to hang on too them for now for a future engine swap, but if i were to sell jzxnz will know first. Hit up Ewan for an import, it'l be cheaper than what you will find here
