Still a lot of work needs doing before i can put the new motor in but she is getting there slowly but surely... just taking time because of cost and having not much time on my hands due to work and that... Any advice or opinions will b muckly appreciated... even negative ones

thanks man... yeah it is... no idea how good it is... i got it for 2.5k so im not expecting the best... ill do a big service on it like cambelt water pump gaskets and that... if shes still running rough after that then ill look into the bigger stuff... how far away are you from doing yours?

What do you have left of the 1g / box and was it manual or auto?

it was an auto... and i pretty much have everything... not sure of the condition... but if you need anything feel free to come and have a look lol

Nice, I love the look of these cars. Had a facelift one with a 1ggte and it was a slug. Hate to imagine how a 1g-e would go LOL. Atleast ur replacing it with a proper engine. Do you have the problem of water leaking into the rear wheel well and causing it to rust?

yeah there was a lot of rust issues... needed a whole new spare tyre well and a bit of the boot floor haha... thanks murdoko... thanx for the support guys ... btw if im adding more photos up do i just do it on this post? sorry im new to the whole forums thing haha
