Yeah man, my JZX91 rears are on their lowest setting (circlip height adjustable) and it sits quite high at the back. The front shocks have a few notches left to go lower, but probably won't need to once the RCA's are in haha. I think the rear kit I've got coming should help balance the look a little, and some 45 profile tyres on the back should fill the little guard gap that the 40's leave.

Will let ya know how the RCA's go :)

i have been looking to import some of these, what did you pay for them and from who if you dont mind me asking?
I went through Ewan/Hayatonka. He basically gave me two options..

A generic brand for ¥17,503
http://page6.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/f101972569

or the Moonface Racing ones for ¥22,917
http://page19.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/a ... x185948973

both prices included EMS 3-5 day shipping. Mine took 5 days to arrive, weekend included.

I decided to pay the lil bit extra and go with the Moonface ones, but the others will do the same job (the Moonface are finished alot nicer, but I think some of the extra cost would probably be in the fancy box and sticker they come with lol)

Mint weather today, so I got stuck in to the car, installed the RCA's and a Cusco front swaybar :) Unfortunately got a weird knock from the front now when going over bumps, I double checked everything was tight so something must be hitting something :| But i've gotta say, it handles a shitload better now!! The front sits so much flatter around corners, and the RCA's made a big difference to the steering feel, feels like how it should now and no more bumpsteer either! And a bit closer to the ground, actually scraped going over lil a dip in the road :| hopefully I can get into my work carpark without ripping the skirts off haha.

Cusco > Stock. Side by side the Cusco doesn't actually look like much of an upgrade. However the stock one is hollow, whereas the Cusco is solid, shit weighs a tonne in comparison!

Looks way lower in person for some reason :|

Cheers boys :)

Took her drifting for the first time yesterday too. Just on the Hamptons skid pad, little cone course set up. Had a go when the track was dry but couldn't get the rear to step out (need a clutch to kick  ), luckily the weather gods blessed us with a late afternoon shower so I gave the car a good ole rape. Will have to see if anyone has any pics...

I installed my Cusco rear swaybar the other day. LOVING it, car feels way more 'neutral' and balanced now and takes corners much better at speed

Anyway i've been thinking a bit lately about what I want from my cars, how to fund it all. With the Hori Dori drift days we've been hosting lately, i've been frothing at the mouth at the thought of getting the JZX out on track, and been trying to think of the best way to do it as soon as possible.

I think what i've decided is to spend the next 3 months or so getting PSIBRG (my Mirage) up to the point where it's 100% usable as a daily driver again. This way I can put my full attention towards the JZX and focus on it properly without worrying about how i'm gonna get to work every night, and without feeling guilty about the other POS wasting away in the backyard.

Basically it needs to be reliable, comfortable (to a point  ), fast and legal.

I've pretty much got the reliability thing down I think. It's always been a reliable car (cue Mitsi jokes?) and I don't really see this changing. Owned it 5 years and its never left me stranded.

Comfortable... basically means fix up the leaky interior, put carpet/centre console back in it, and have the roof replaced (typical Mitsi roof rust, I have a rust free roof here waiting to go on)

Next is to install all the parts I have sitting here in my bedroom, BC Golds, Link G4, Kelfords, PTE 880cc injectors. Gonna pull the turbo off and have the exhaust housing machined out to take a TD06SL2 turbine (the TD05H one is restricting it something chronic), and then put it all back together and get it tuned. Possibly might have to do the clutch. And then finally get it certed (though whats this I hear about not being able to cut the front bumper support anymore? mine's hacked to pieces...)

This should see me with a 100% legal, reliable and rapid daily driver that I hopefully shouldn't have to spend any more money on for a while, i'm shooting for 240kw atw on 'street boost' (1 bar) and hopefully around 300kw at 20psi.

Once this is sussed it means I can pull the JZX off the road anytime without worry, and concentrate on saving for a manual conversion kit and a 2JZGTE.

So forgive me if you don't see much progress on the JZX for a little while... tis all for the best in the end. I'll still continue saving for manual conversion parts in the meantime.

So hopefully next year i'll be able to do less of this...

And more of this  :D

Went for a wheel alignment. Now have a nice crack in one of my genuine Vertex skirts :x They're paying to fix it though, dropping it off today.

Never go to TyreWorx in New Lynn. Either the old man was having a really bad day, or they're actually the roughest bunch out there. Dude SLAMMED my bonnet shut, surprised it didn't break the bonnet pins (flush fit pins = plastic body), drove up onto the hoist at FULL SPEED without even laying down ramps first, i'm amazed he didn't fuck my front lip and skirts in one swift blow. Alignment is sub par too... i've somehow ended up with toe-out on the left rear and toe-in on the right rear :| . These guys are supposedly steering/alignment specialists. I almost want to ask them to redo it, but fuck that, they're not touching my car again.

Yes i'm mad... lol
