saw your post on jzx100.com, who's your preferred tuner for the Link G4? would you go for Storm or Extreme? Looking at GCP Puke to tune mine.

Would you stick with stock injectors and fuel pump or upgrade one or both?

How much would Sinco charge you for the dump pipe?

Soichi does all my tuning. Wouldn't trust my car with anybody else and he has never let me down with the 6 cars i've had tuned by him.

I'm going with ST215 Caldina GT-T 550cc Injectors as they're a drop in job and the fuel pump is a GSS342 Walbro. This combo will beable to provide enough fuel for what i'm chasing.

Bought the dump pipe from a fellow member who now has a katsutudai works down/front pipe combo. Sinco charge $300 for the turbo elbow with a 3" collector. Gave me a huuuuge gain in torque on boost and is a must do upgrade as the original one is very restrictive.

Hope this helps,
Phil

I've never dealt with Soichi but from what I've heard he prefers to outsource Link tunes to somewhere else, he specialises more in Japanese ECU's, pfc's etc. Could be wrong though

Garys tuning at Possum Bourne Motorsports now. Dudes an old pro, basically the Steve Murch of tuning. Used to tune Possums personal cars back in the day

Yeah and the problem I have with the HKS is I believe there's only a few that can tune it (correct me if I'm wrong?). I've heard good things with Link G4 and Gary, from what I've heard and read, is the guy in the Auckland area. Plus, link is NZ made... Boom!

HKS as in F-Con? Yeah dunno who tunes those, my money would be on Soichi.

Heaps of good tuners in Auckland. Carl @ E&H is awesome with Links. Then there's Glenn Suckling @ GDS, built and tuned his old 7 second GTR (dunno if he still has it?) and also tunes Gaz Whiters new S14.

Can't go wrong with a G4. I've got one sitting here waiting to go into my Mirage, not sure who I'm gonna get to do the tune but I'm leaning towards Gary Capper too.

Aren't the ST215 injectors phased out? Wouldve been a smart option unless you'll settle with 2nd hand ones?

That's a bit shit. He had the jigs for them and had made quite a few prior for a few members on here.
With the tomei stuff, be prepared to wait if you are buying from anyone sourcing directly from Tomei JP as they have no stock on 1JZ power up items at the moment. I'm having to wait 3-4 weeks to manufacture + air shipping time to recieve my cams and exhaust cam gear.

So hows your luck with the ST215 injectors? Do you have them already (brand new?) coz they're phased out.... or are you gonna settle with 2nd hand ones?
