Re: Soon to be boso Gx71: Update

Post by Bosozoku_GX71 »

Update: Car is back now, so far i have had all thr rust cut out of the rear c pillar, rust cut out of the oppisite pillar on the top. dents taken out of the right hand side and both the right doors repainted. then went for a warrent and failed on rust on the A pillar in the door well, reverse lights not working and the front bumper not secure and all bent. Car then went to a different panel beater and had the A pillar rust fixed and the front bumper and the creased front guard all straightened out. The only thing left is the reverse lights so we played around with the cables and shit and checked if there was power going to them. To start with the bulbs look well and truely blown so we put new ones in but it didnt help so after an hour or so we gave up and took it to the auto electricians. He said to bring it back today cause he wouldnt be able to look at it yesterday and it would just sit outside. So took it there this morning and asked him to look at the temperature gauge aswell while he was at it. There is also the engine check light coming on if im hard on it but mike (slipway) thinks it might be the guage cluster so we will see what turns up with the temperature guage. Anyway it should be ready for a wof in the next few days. I think i do love it now. drives so good, not overly fast but nice straight six noise and enought power. Guy at the auto electricians commented that it was "mint as". never thought it would be called mint in its life

Yea il probably sack it this weekend. Unfortunately I'm flat broke so I can't even afford to get rid of the giant silencer in the rear or get my boso pipes yet.

SICK!!! Im a sucker for sunroof pop ae, also i spy an advan paintjob in the background. But yea i personally love mk 2's but in orange but with a chrome lip but that colour scheme wouldnt work on my car, im trying to find a full time job for the uni break so i can save up and let one of my mates to finally peer preasure me into getting wheels, but any full sets of rims on yahoo japan end up actually being pretty expensive. But just give me time, oh and ive already got fender mirrors to go on, but i need to be able to afford to tidy up the guards after i put them on.
