tups gx71
well where to start i bought it about 7yrs ago was looking for a cheap rwd toyota with lots of parts available to start
building a drift car.
so i found a factory manual gx71 done low k,s.

the first thing i did was the suspension,in the front had coil over made with koni adjustables and use 550lb springs and camber plates all from stocks

in the rear i started with ma61 king springs and koni adjustables but the spring rate wasn't enough so i made up my own
adjustable coil over setup so i could use king spring race springs that way i could use any spring rate i wanted ended up with
450lb
once all of that was done i was on the hunt for a more powerful motor i came accross a 1ggte so put that in maily cause it was just a bolt job, wierd it my self drove it for a while but just didnt have enough grunt so was on the look for something with more power then came accross a 1jzgte with r154 from a jza70 front cut, bought so mounts from ozzy and bolted it in had to gently beat
the tunnel to fit the gear box and modded the factory g'box xmember.

have recently put a new alloy radiator in and upgraded the diff from a f series ma61 lsd to a g series trd 2way lsd

Re: tups gx71
Nice Car m8! what plans do you have for it?
"Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car.
Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.
Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall,
Torque is how far you take the wall with you."
