Simon's JZX100

Post by SimonMkII »

Hi guys, been a bit slack getting my intro up here.
I've got a 100 MarkII tourer v. Mostly standard ;)
Had some dirty big chinese made turbo and external wastegate on it when I bought it. That crapped out so now I have a standard turbo with modified internals. Also has BC coil overs, some random 17" wheels and a rangi pit stop exhaust.

Oh yeah, got one of these too. Haven't had a chance to see if it will go all the way to 320 yet.

Yeah I bought it off a guy in wellington. If you know who he is and you ever see him around, give him a really good hard kick right in the nuts. He absolutely fucking butchered everything he touched on this car. Last year it was off the road for about 6 months because of some of his dodgy wiring that melted and shorted out, took forever to track it down.

Yeah it really sucks. The guy was a mechanic too, hate to think of what his work is like on customer cars if he didn't even bother to do a good job on his own car.

Made himself a leaky exhaust manifold, which was almost impossible to remove. Broke bits of trim and their tabs so half the interior wouldn't fit together properly. Random holes in the seats and carpet. All the tabs on the headlights are broken so there isn't really anything holding them in properly. Just lots of dumb shot like that. Admittedly all stuff I should have fixed by now, but I'm lazy.
