Name: Alistair
Where you're from: North Shore, Auckland
What you do: Marketing Assistant
Car you own: 01' JZX110 Toyota Mark II IR-S, 86' VG40 Toyota Century
Mods and future plans: To the JZX, if I can find a cheap JZX100 1JZ-GTE and R154 package from Jap would make it a bit nicer. In saying that the 1JZ-FSE isn't too bad a motor, manual alone would help it. Nothing really planned for the Century aside from having some lower springs made and possibly another exhaust system to open up the 5V a little.
Next car you want to buy: Buy another VG40 Century, but a black L type, another 3-400mm longer than my current!
Why you joined JZX NZ: Met a few of the guys at NZPC parkup.

Here's my stock as a rock JZX110 Mark II IR-S. Would like to do the vvti 1jz-gte and manual conversion at some stage. In the near future will look at some coilovers (I hear SXE/GXE10 Altezza coilovers are the same?) and (fund dependant!) something like the Work GS1's in 19 x 9.5.

1JZ-FSE powerhouse!

Paint is factory gunmetal grey, comes up nice with mild polish

And my baby, a 1986 VG40 Toyota Century. 5V-EU V8.

Paint is pretty good for its age, again comes up nice with a cut and polish!

Cheers

Coilovers? Sure
Re: Alistair's JZX110 and VG40 Century
Let me know if you are as it looks like I'm moving to Wellington with company car etc so am only going to keep the Century. Coilovers will be brand spankers new, but could a little bit cheaper than new price.
