Actually I went around to MrOizo's house today and we did the oils and filters in my Supra (Engine, Diff, Gearbox and PS + Fuel/Air/Oil filters) - well, I was learning by watching him and drinking/eating all his Coke and Pizzas

We found that after a full 5L container of Engine oil was used, it still probably needs 500ml to 1L of Engine oil to fill it up completely.

Simons Basic Chaser

Post by Xypher »

Hey guys heres my car so far. Have owned it for 3 weeks. Am starting to love Chasers after looking at everything in this forum :)

So far it is on compressed standard springs, 17 inch lightweight RKII's, 35% tinted all around, blacked out fog lights (wont be in pictures yet)

What I have planned is to get deep dish black 18's, black out the indicators, despoiler it and possibly S2 tail lights/or black out standard ones.

+ Powder coat these gold rims black untill I get my new rims :)

Drive it around for a year or two then consider engine swap :)

Hi simon, im a fellow chch'er ill have to keep an eye out for you man, saw this car on trademe, was considering it haha.

As for the de-spoilering, you have two options, just pull the wing off, and be a cheapass and put rubber bungs in to fill the holes (para rubber have a great selection).
Or if your abit more enthuastic, you can weld up the holes, this isnt easy though, ive done it on my chaser, you cant access the holes from inside, so keyhole surgery is necessary, and you need to be good with a TIG. Then paint the boot / blend guards. looks real good when complete, but is a c**t to do man. go for the bungs, at least you can put the spoiler back on at a later date that way.

like your tinted indicators man, looks filthy as, im impressed
