I know some of you must have done a manual conversion.
Im after a good condition auto preferably with all the bits to attach to a 2jz.
Cheap or free.
Its for a sneaky project that if it works i guarantee you all will be amazed

Hmm, not sure actually, how can I tell? I don't know a whole lot about Toyota autos but it came out of my 2jzge powered jzx91, as far as I know it's the original trans.

Check the build plate on the firewall, will have "Trans/Axle" codes. Pretty sure it'd be an A340e but best to double check it.

yeah it should be an A340e...
Also, Peter Deedman's selling his too.. thats out of a JZX110 turbo.. not selling mine though for back up.

Wiki tells me it should be.

It's an A341E, which google tells me was also used in the LS400/Celsior, so should be a pretty strong trans i'd imagine...
