Re: JZX110 Front Bumper Support
Who's doing the cert !
I have totally removed the reinforcement on the Verossa and managed to convince the cert dude that absence of the bar did not affect air bag deployment .
I think I may still have the Verossa Bar floating around at work , but I'm not sure till I get to work on Monday whether its compatible with MKII .

Re: JZX110 Front Bumper Support
As i'm actually from Northland Toymotor, ive checked genuine. Still reasonably expensive, but Price isnt really an issue, its more the lead time out of Japan, as I need to get this thing done and legit, and get a wof on it.
Certifier was Paul @ Nortran
Also checked with another Certifier, and he confirmed.
Same with Frank from LTNZ.
Apparantly the LVVTA Threshold says something like.. If front mounted intercooler is fitted, and the vehicle was produced after 08-1999, or registered after 01-2001, then the front bumper support may not be altered or removed.
The Verossa one is the same mate, are you willing to part with it?!
Cheers for the help so far guys,
