FS: APEXi Neo AFC - $1 Reserve!

Post by Tofu »

Hi All,

Image

As per the thread title, I have an APEXi Neo AFC Controller for sale. The unit came with a box of parts from a Donor Car and I have not had the opportunity to use or test it. Because of this, the auction is strictly 'as is where is'.

The unit has approximately 30cm of wiring before it has been cut off at the end. Installation manual/diagram can be found here: http://www.nengun.com/doc/nengun-0975-0 ... wiring.pdf

With supporting modifications (Intake, Header, Exhaust) on 1600-2200cc N/A motors expect to see a 10-15kw power. On my previous S15 200SX I gained 25kw with tuning using a very similar unit to this (an older version of the SAFC) from adjusting the air/fuel mixtures. In the hands of an experience tuner, they are able to adjust injected fuel amounts by +/- 50%. 8 or 16 user defined RPM adjustment points allow maximum tuning in 500 rpm increments. Fuel can also be adjusted for part and full throttle situations as well.

The unit displays data in three different modes: Numerical, Analog, and Graph. Numerical Mode allows the user to monitor up to four different parameters in numbers and also shows peak hold values on demand. The Analog Mode displays up to two values in an easy to read meter style display. The Multi Mode displays up to two parameters in digital and one parameter in analog. Peak Hold is also included in this function. The Graph mode offers real time graph plotting with a Ghost map trace feature built in. The graph can replay movement up to 60 seconds.

I've just wired it up to a 12v source to test it and the unit powers up. Hope this helps to those who are interested in buying it.
