F/S Brand New BC Gold Coilovers X90/100/110

Post by Alistair »

Yep, job transfer to Wellington with a company car means I've got to sell the JZX110 and the brand new coilovers for it! Have been assured by BC Racing these suit 90/100/110 series. Cost $1495 and are still unused in box. Will do them a little bit cheaper, although not excessively as like I say they are brand spankers.

Cheers.

Oh and someone buy the JZX110 too. 1JZ-FSE ftw. 8-)

-Unrelated- but bring the JZX down, at least there'd be some more JZX cars down here...
Good luck!

Considered it but having one weekend car is enough for me, especially when the Century costs me $160+ to fill at the moment!

Off topic but dont think these would even fit a 110 if they are for a jzx90 and 100, rears would be different, Have seen them advertised on trademe and always wondered, thought they may have had 2 different sets

I confirmed with BC Racing prior to ordering that they would fit my 110, I will check them out against my suspension next week anyhow. I haven't seen a definitive yes or no as to whether they share suspension mounts, just banter on the internet. I have seen listings in various coilovers for the 110 some of which say 110 shares GXE/SXE10 Altezza and some say they share x90/100 Chaser.

Won't fit JZX110, they've been tried. The top hat stud pattern is different in the rear, altezzas fit (but have softer spring rates). Looking at Tein.jp for example (I realise these are BC), they list the same part number for sxe10 as jzx110, but its definitely different to the JZX90/100.

I'd take them back to BC and get a full refund instead of trying to sell them for less! Might need one of your factory ones out to prove it though...

As Brett says, look at japanese catologues for cross reference of parts!

Sorry guys, as above have taken these back now as Redline didn't know what they were talking about. They suggested you take the 110 rear hat off and put it onto the coilover (for those that have seen 110 suspension the rear top hat is one piece with the upper strut tube, no getting that off without grinding!) The way of doing 110 suspension is getting sxe/gxe10 coilovers and having the spring rates swapped to 14kg front, 10 kg rear which most places do a 2kg increase in spring for no charge.

Must say a big thanks to Nick @ Platinum wheels for sorting everything out though and putting Redline in their place over the whole matter, especially when they assured direct fit for 110's! Nick is discussing with HSD and others at the moment to get some definite part numbers etc for the 110's (as well as all the standard 90/100 coilovers) so if you need suspension, tyres or anything hit up Nick on nick@platinumwheels.co.nz , I think Tristan is sorting something out with him anyway for club deals so check it out.
