Expressions of Interest - 1997 Toyota Chaser Tourer V

Post by lukeskees »

Just testing the water at the moment. Wish I didnt have to sell my car but possibly need more cash for a deposit on a house. So after offers at the moment on how much you think it may be worth. PM or post on here. Basically it is a mostly stock 1997 Toyota Chaser Tourer V (JZX100). I've been told it is possibly the ONLY silver turbo chaser in NZ with a sunroof :p. This car is EXTREMELY rare!!!

It is auto, done approx 118xxx kms and is quite tidy as shown in the pics. Its lowered on tein springs and has 18x 9.5 Rota Grid wheels from Platinum Wheels. Looks nice and staunch with the flush set up. Have also had tints done by Unique Tints and rear LED tail lights. Has a JVC sub and amp in the boot that may go with it and a new Sony head unit with ipod / aux and USB. 5-star AVS alarm and immobilisors.

I love this car and again dont want to sell it, but if the price is right it may need to make way for a house :(
This car has never given me any problems and is very quick - never raced though!

Feel free to ask any questions, I may have forgotten something if it comes to mind.

Call or text me too - 0210512242

Cheers,
Luke

GL with the sale. I wouldn't personally take anything less than 16k for that car so I hope thats what you're wanting for it.

Sucks having to sell the nice things to buy a house. Don't want to sound negative but you will probably struggle to get serious offers over 10k if your lucky. Sadly it a buyers market and most young guys that want a chaser cant actually afford one. I notice a couple of very nice 110s on TM for under 14k, for me they seem a steal but still no takers. It looks pretty dam tidy, maybe with a bit of luck you can get the house and keep the car :)

Yea fingers crossed I can keep it AND get a house. I'd definately not sell mine for that low though. It wouldnt be worthwhile me selling at that price.

Yup sure is. I was happy as to buy it from Tristan after seeing how much of a JZX enthusiast he was, he looked after it well. I agree though, not worth selling if you dont get what you're after for it.

Im in the same position as you, looking at buying a house but dont quite have enough deposit saved up yet

I am prepared to sell the chaser, but only at the right price and serious buyers are definately gonna be slim

Either someone gives me 20k, or I save up for longer and be baller with a house AND a chaser ;) I like the latter option more though.

u'll find a way mate. i bought a house with my JZX, managed to find a mortgage manager who actually cares and was willing to take a smaller deposit :)

This car's not even close to how it was when I owned it. Good job mate! I'd keep this if I were you. not many around.....
